Updating My Portfolio

I will be photographing all of my work this week for my portfolio, so look for some new postings by this weekend! It's a project that's long overdue! Most of the stuff is already on here, but there are a few drawings that haven't been posted yet. I'm also in the middle of several new projects, so be on the lookout for those as well! If you are interested in any of my work, please let me know!

The New Garden

Here's some photographs from my new garden....

Mother Earth

I had to do a mixed media piece with a "political" theme.... i'm not particularly political, however i do try to be environmentally concious. I decided to illustrate Mother Earth wearing a gas mask. I like how it turned out, and I've got all kinds of neat things collaged in there, including some green Earth Day Campbells soup can labels. Mixed Media, 22"x30"

La Calavera

This is my sugar skull. It needs more flowers, but other than that i love it!
Acrylic on canvas, 5'x2'

Ami-Ti-Rangi

My assignment was to illustrate a myth. I picked Ami-Ti-Rangi, a polynesian sky goddess that fishes from the sky for mortal men to devour....

pastel 22"x30" NFS

Chair Full of Mannequins

When I sat in the chair to have my hair cut, I glanced over and saw hair flopping over the arm of the chair across fro me, and thought someone had passed out!!! After a second, I realized it as a chairfull of practice mannequins for the 2 new trainees... creepy and funny all at the same time, which, of course, is just my style! I'd love to turn one of these into a painting....I know I would always find the humor in it!!!
